Wow. What a summer. For most bands its a 'duh' statement that their summer will be busy, but for us with no manager, no record label and basically no budget, we knew that if anything was going to happen this summer we had to make it happen ourselves...so we did.
Once we finished our EP, A Tale of Risky Business, we had our release concert on May 31st at the Knitting Factory which was a total success and the start of three major shows on the Knitting Factory's Main Stage, with our last one August 5th being just about a sell out and included a visit from some very special guests as I'm sure you all remember.
We also went out on our Under the Sun/Under the Stars Tour. A completely original idea we came up with to get out on the road and really connect with our fans. We literally went to our fans homes, set up, played and hung out. It was a really special time we'll always remember. From our first show in Illinois, to eating some amazing home cooking in Indiana, to rocking out in a Boston back yard, all of them have their specific memories and we're really blessed that we have such amazing fans that took us into their homes and treated us so well.
Aside from the music we brought you (See U In The Dark, The Takeover, This Bed is An Ocean, Two Rebels, etc..) we also brought you guys two of our most epic ideas yet, The HONOR ROLL and the newest episode of The Gentlemen's Club. The HONOR ROLL honestly started as a funny thing between me and Alex that we wanted to be the first rock band to make a dance to go with a song just like Soujah Boy did for his song. So in a parking lot with just about a half hour before our first Under the Sun show (where we promised to show everyone the dance) we choreographed what we like to think became the "hottest dance in the streets". lol. Almost 60,000 youtube plays later it's done pretty well. *Special note* I will be releasing the video Kat took from that parking lot of us actually making the dance up, so look for that soon. Then we brought you 'Olympic Fever' Episode 8 of The Gentlemen's Club. The Gentlemen's Club is another idea that was kind of a funny thing between me and Alex and with seven other successful episodes under our belt we knew we had to go big or go home. So we went big. Three different accents, two different types of Speedos, and one new dog all made it our most talked about episode. So thank you again to our fans for having a sense of humor understanding that we take our music seriously, but we like to have fun too!
Then there was all the hanging out! From Jonas shows, to Demi solo shows, to Great Adventure we got to chill, take a million pictures with and meet so many amazing new people.
Did I mention the Popstar article, Perez Hilton blurb and a couple of quick sightings of us on MTV? (thanks to some very awesome friends of ours).
So with a summer like that how do we top it? Well we have some tricks up our sleeve as always. We constantly try to stay a couple steps ahead of you guys, keeping you entertained, rocking, dancing, laughing, feeling something, feeling alive.
You all made our summer amazing and we just hope when you look back on this summer of your life you'll think of HONOR SOCIETY, your summer crush.
Now go freshen up and get ready for HONOR SOCIETY....your Autumn Romance.

I agree with Becca to bad you guys dont tour over here in wisconsin i dont know you guys thats well but i'd like to after reading the blog you guys seem pretty cool and am looking forward to really hearing your music i've seen youtube videos of the Honor Roll awhile back lol. Awesome dance by the way.Music isn't the only thing that draws me to a band its the personality that comes with the music. Do you know what i'm sayin? Loved the blog by the way and am looking forward to learning more about you guys. Hope you all had a great summer :).Which i'm sure you did just by reading your blog lol. Hosting Nicole & Kelly's Sweet Sixteen this Summer during your Under the Sun tour was the highlight of their lives! There is no topping that birthday!! Humphrey is still recuping ~ man is he a party animal or what?? Knitting Factory was awesome and you guys were in top form! Your "very special" guests seemed to be having a good time even though they didn't dare join the party! Keep rocking and we will see you soon I am sure!

i just recently became a fan..but i don't think you have had any shows in calfornia...i might be wrong..but yeah..so you guys need to come out here a.s.a.p me and my friend love the honor roll...[ = and we really love see u in the dark...we want to buy t-shirts...so please come out here....you can make fans easily in california...and you dont even have to pay for gas...just take the metro fro 1;25 a day lol [ = pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

michael bruno. omg. ha. I'm sitting in the car and I'm reading this and laugh to myself and stuff. my parents think I'm absolutly insane. I can't wait till school time with my autumn romances. haha. I swear to you mikee, summer oheight has been the best because of many epic things that's happened to me but the honor society shows have most deff made the top three. always making the shows so much fun. <3 thank you. and I can't wait to see you guys soon. :)
